Well Saturday started out cruddy, with heavy rain and thunderstorms lasting into the early afternoon and guess what, more is on the way. Another round of showers will move through Iowa tonight and last into tomorrow morning, but keep your heads up because there is a chance for some clearing tomorrow afternoon.
The storms and heavy rain have the best chance of clearing out tomorrow afternoon, around 1 to 4pm, so if you want to grill out tomorrow with the family, that might be your best bet to get the steaks cooking. Temperatures tomorrow will be a little more mild, reaching back into the mid 70s, but next week will really heat up as Thursday has the potential to hit 90!
Sunday night expect more storms and heavy rain to develop in the evening and last into Monday morning. This pattern is just not budging, so next week will continue to be wet and stormy.
Have a great weekend!
