After another stormy day, thankfully today is looking quieter!
The energy for storms has been pushed almost entirely out of the state. We will be bringing clouds into the forecast along with cooler weather. Highs today will be in the 70s in central Iowa. You may see a spotty shower after 4pm.
Tonight will be cool and dry. Tomorrow we'll see the coolest weather of the week. Highs will be snubbed in the 50s and 60s with light rain showers likely after noon. Expect 0.1" to 0.2" of rain out of this one.
The weather clears up and looks gorgeous on Thursday!
More storms rolled through the Metro Monday evening prompting some tornado warnings. Golf ball sized hail and a few funnel clouds were reported with this storm as it pushed through the north side of town. Be sure to check out the pictures viewers sent in on our facebook page, some of them are pretty ominous.
Have a great day!
