It was an outcome nobody wanted. The bodies of the missing cousins from Evansdale, Lyric Cook-Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins, were discovered Wednesday in a wooded area.
The Evansdale community has held two vigils to remember the girls in the past two days, and now a couple local women decided to do the same.
They say this is just a little something they can do to help comfort the family and the community.
"We just felt it'd be nice to show our support and show that there are other people outside of your community that care," said Misty McGrean.
"It hits closer to home for a lot of people because those are our children. You can't mess with our kids," said Nicole Cunningham.
The candlelight vigil is Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at the north entrance of Gray's Lake. You can wear pink, bring your own candle and a pink balloon. You can also make a donation to the families for final expenses.
