Man Shot Riding In Car

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 22-year-old Iowa man while he was riding in a moving car.

Waterloo police say the shooting happened early Sunday morning.

Shantorio Vashawn Evans was killed when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire on the vehicle Evans was in. Evans was struck by gunfire multiple times.

Evans was taken to Allen Hospital where he died.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Broadway Street.
