DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - A popular downtown Des Moines pizzeria has closed indefinitely because of water damage.
A ruptured water main is forcing Fong's Pizza to close for an unknown amount of time.
The main break earlier this week left more than 6 feet of standing water in the basement, where most of the restaurant's business operations are housed. The water damaged equipment, computers, and other infrastructure required to run the business.
Restaurant co-owner Dennis Epps predicts that the restaurant will remain closed for several weeks.
