McCaffery Announces Roster Move

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) _ Iowa coach Fran McCaffery says freshman Kyle Meyer will redshirt this season.

       Meyer, a 6-10 forward from Alpharetta, Ga., played 10 minutes in Sunday's exhibition against Quincy, scoring two points and grabbing one rebound.

       McCaffery said this week that he planned on using a 10-man rotation that will include a number of freshmen.

       Meyer averaged 18.2 points and 13.9 rebounds as a high school senior.
