Iowa's Bowl chances aren't gone but at this point it will take a small miracle. Iowa's 24-21 loss to Indiana Saturday dropped the Hawkeyes to 4-5 on the season and 2-3 in the Big Ten. Iowa will need to win 2 of its final 3 games to become Bowl elgibile.
Iowa has a great chance for a win Saturday at home against Purdue but that will almost certainly be the last game Iowa is favored to win. The Hawkeyes close out the season with games at Michigan followed by a home game against Nebraska.
"We got these next 3 games ahead of us and we're gonna give it our all. You know that's one thing about Iowa football. We don't fall back when there's a challenge in front of us" said junior LB Christian Kirksey.
Iowa (4-5, 2-3) will take on Purdue (3-6, 0-5) Saturday at Kinnick Stadium at 11:00 a.m.
