Boone, IA -- While the farm progress show is known for having the latest and greatest in farming technology, there's also a lot of history to be had at this year's show.

If you've been to the show you've seen the shiny new equipment, but if you take a second to walk along antique row you may find that history has never looked better.

Along the streets of the Farm Progress Show, you'll see the cutting edge, the glossy new tech. walk just a little further, and you'll get to see where it all started.

The Minneapolis–Moline Collectors Club has 16 classic tractors on display, one of which is over 80 years old.

The club has invested time, and of course, money, to restore these classic tractors to their past glory.

They've been restoring tractors for the past several years. Their 1949 Famal H took 2 semesters and $3,000 to restore, with the help-and garage space-from businesses.

So while the show tends to focus on the new, collectors say it's always good to look back now and again.
