Updated List of Schools Closing Due To Heat

The following schools are dismissing early due to heat.  If you have a closing, cancellation, or early dismissal that you would like to add, contact the ABC5 Newsroom at news@myabc5.com or (515) 457-1026.

 

Tuesday Closings & Cancellations:

  • Albia Schools - Dismissing at 1 p.m.
  • Boone (High School Only) - Dismissing at 1:15 p.m.
  • Centerville Schools - Dismissing 2 Hours Early
  • East Marshall Schools - Dismissing 2 Hours Early
  • Eldora-New Providence Schools - Dismissing at 1:15 p.m.
  • Gladbrook-Reinbeck Schools - Dismissing 2 Hours Early.  No MS practices.  HS practices at 6:00, HS competitions will take place as scheduled.
  • Hubbard-Radcliffe - Dismissing at 1:15 p.m.
  • Mormon Trail Schools - Dismissing at 1 p.m.
  • North Sentral Kossuth Schools - Dismissing 2 Hours Early
  • Oskaloosa Christian School - Dismissing at 1:15
  • Pella Community Schools - Dismissing 2 Hours Early
  • Tri-County Schools - Dismissing at 1:30 today.  No JH football game or JH volleyball practice.  The JV football game will be held at 6 pm.
