Lisa Martone joined the ABC5 News Team in May 2009. She comes to ABC5 after years of working in print journalism in New York City and New Jersey.
Lisa graduated with a degree in journalism from Marist College in New York. While at Marist she interned with Trinity Broadcasting, Regional News Network and MTV U. From there she went back and forth from print to broadcast journalism, spending a year at Fox News Network in New York in 2007 and working for several weekly and daily newspapers.
Lisa has received awards from the New Jersey Press Association for her feature writing.
She was born and raised in New Jersey. Even though she misses her family, friends and the Jersey beaches, she is excited to begin her new journey in the Midwest.
