Snow covered roads alongside some minor blowing and drifting will make our Monday morning commute a slow one.
Expect the strongest winds to be in the morning hours at 10-20mph. This will reduce the wind chill and locally the visibility in a few spots with some minor blowing snow. Slow improvement will work in along with sunshine this afternoon. This snow is really light and fluffy, so locations where it's been plowed and cleared will dry out relatively quickly by evening.
Tonight another weak cold front will push through the state. This system aims to bring just wind and that may blow the snow around again for tomorrow morning's commute. Expect a mainly dry day, but another round of light snow is shaping up for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. I expect a light 1"-3" of fresh powder to cause even more issues on the roads for Wednesday's morning commute.
After that, we'll dry out and warm up a touch. Expect 20s and 30s to move into the forecast by the end of the week.
Stay safe on the roads today and have a good Monday!
